Woke up quite late actually today, so exhausted after going hyper all night.
Breakfast is all oriental with buns and congee. Very basic
After leaving hotel at 10:30am it took around 5 minutes to get to the overground metro station, which was a long flight of stairs I had to go up. Last night I charged up 100RMB on my transport card, way more than enough if I just use metro and bus over the week. First took a short 2 stop journey to Baoshan road, to change to another line, I think line 4. Then took a journey to Century Avenue. After getting out, I had trouble trying to find 987 bus. After a 30 minute long search and asking people, I finally found the stop. It took a good 15 minutes at the stop just to wait for a bus. After getting on, I took a long 15ish stop bus to Biyun road stop, which stops at around the Family Mart and Papa Johns outside Diamond Court. After a short walk to Concordia, well I arrive at Concordia!
After getting into Concordia, I sat at the couches in the middle school building, while the 8th grade were watching Nanjing Movie; which I heard was quite sad. After a short class sitting before lunch, we ate lunch, duh! Anyway lunch was amazing seeing every single 8th grader, and bringing back great unforgettable memories. Right after lunch, I headed to floater period with Mr Boll, which was fun, although feeling a little left out. Last period was Chinese, which actually felt like if I was part of the class.
Tomorrow I hope to get to Concordia again!

My arrival in Shanghai!!
Leaving Beijing at around 2:30pm was amazing going through the new terminal 3. What a large building! Anyway, the flight wa all smooth and Beijing weather was not cold and windy like the past few days.
After taking a 2 hour aeroplane ride, I was yet again back in Hongqiao airport.
I'm actually living in a 3-star hotel right beside the Hongkou Soccer Stadium, which is quite convenient. I can easily take the metro anywhere, so I decided to buy a Shanghai Transportation Card.
Anyway, my plan tommorow is to head to Concordia and have a break with my old friends :)

SPRING BREAK
at last... The last 8 weeks at WAB have been really challenging. First 1-2 weeks were challenging becuase of being new, and meeting new people. Next 2-5 weeks had to get used to the system WAB works. And from then till week 8, HOMEWORK!
Sony Ericsson Open is going on right now, but I can't find any coverage at all.

Thursday Night Blues.
Its been a short week, usually the week before holidays are long, but not in this case :). This week (week #8) has been terrible in terms of homework. Stressful nights are getting me less sleep which I think is affecting my concentration levels...
Anyway,
THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE lAMBERT HOMEROOM especially,
Lishan, Belinda, Jackie, Beatrice and maybe others for organising the reunion with me :)
*Sorry if you helped out and your name isn't here.
1 day left til holiday!
Concordians shall help me with my math hwk ;)

2 Months at WAB + Paribas Open
I've just started to get use to here, and already 2 months has passed. I remember leaving Shanghai on a 3pmish flight on 24 January; today is 24 March!
Anyway, to celebrate this, I'll be paying a visit to Shanghai from March 30 - April 6
Meanwhile in the Paribas Open spotlight, unexpected Nadal beat Murray 61 62 in the championship finale. It was quick and weird. Hope we see better next week for the Sony Ericsson Masters 1000 in Miami!

MUN is done!!
It HAS been an extreme week for me, but it has all paid off!
MUN started yesterday morning, with me absent for school. Yay!
Basically I saw the Concordia MUN team with Mr Larson within the first 2 minutes, and that was a great feeling being able to see the first Concordians since January.
Anyway, moving onto the actual conference, it was much easier than I anticipated, and the chairs were actually quite friendly and helpful. Day 1 was lobbying and merging all 3 topics, and after that was the first debate on the first topic, with 2 resolutions failing and 1 passed. Unfortunately mine did fail. Lunch was average, and probably the only thing great about it was that it was free. Dinner on the same night was excellent, it was just amazing how many people were here. The fries and the rice and the meat, and just about everything was great.
After dinner was the most amazing time with the Concordians! After dinner at around 6:40pm me and the rest of the Concordia Beijing MUN team walked to the nearby Shard Box store, where people such as Casey decided to buy boxes inside of boxes inside of boxes. After that we went into the Golden *something* street, I don't quite remember the name. Basically all fake goods, and all you can buy is some funny looking clothing. Luke and AJ decided to buy those punching gun thing, while Gnyanesh decided to buy to ear warmers even though winter is over already... Next part of the night was bowling, probably the most fun out of the night was this. Surprisingly I remember my bowling score from the Christmas Party with Concordia which was just 25. I ended up getting over 70 and getting 2 strikes, which was infinitely times better than Christmas! We mixed up our names, and we made nicknames for the bowling score tracker. And right after bowling was the ice-cream, which was quite nice too. And that wraps up Friday night.
This morning (Saturday morning), I came out more relaxed than yesterday. Instead, today was just the debating of the other 2 issues we didn't do yesterday. After a heavy fail in our 2nd topic with just 2 people voting for the resolution, my 3rd resolution was different, because I signed it with a completely different group. And so the 3rd one was passed, thank god I had a resolution that was passed! After the closing ceremony, I had to say goodbye to some great new friends I had made, as well as fellow Concordians too. :(
Overall, MUN is great, I actually kind of regret NOT doing it last year. I met up with several new friends from SAS, ISB as well as some other schools too. Definitely going to do HS MUN next year. :)
Hopefully someone can post some pictures on this?

Tennis Season. Ready, Steady, Go...?
Tennis started yesterday, not exactly how I thought it was like. A lot of boring 6th graders that can bearly hit the ball! Man, I wanna play tough tennis like the professionals. Oh well, gives me more hope in winning :).

Completed March at WAB
First complete month at WAB complete, everything is starting to change around here...
MEANWHILE... my macbook decides to die. So now I have to constantly borrow an iBook G4 from the school everyday, until the repair centre can get it fixed.
Critical science test tomorrow on biology =(
