Life.
Week is almost over! Wow this week has been short.
Anyway, just to point out, Mr Larson has invited me to dinner and/or bowling during the MUN in Beijing. Cya there everyone!
Man, we have swimming again tommorow, I really dislike doing it during the day. And worst of all, it's first period tommorow.

Anyway...
For those Shanghai readers out there, I will be back soon!
And for those in Beijing MUN, I will see you soon :)

More tennis... + Valentines Day =D
Nadal beat Tsonga 2-1 sets, quite a disappointing result compared to his result at 2008 Australian open Semi-Final when Tsonga defeated Nadal 3-0 sets. Monfils is ready to beat Nadal again in the Semifinal of Rotterdam ATP 500.
I don't think anyone understood the first paragraph of this post. haha
Anyway, today is Valentines Day, while yesterday was the CISS Valentines Dance. I heard it was a success with old relationships becoming better ;). The WAB Dance is next Friday, not sure if I'm going or not. Anyway, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!

Finally! It's been a short week, feels like that it is only Tuesday, but it is Friday. Today is Friday 13th, but there wasn't any bad luch for me so far. We'll see by tommorow; which is Valentines Day.
Tonight is also the Tsonga vs Nadal match in Rotterdam, and I can't wait to see that.

1st week done in WAB
Well, theres nothing much to do here in this weird looking home in the middle of nowhere. Well next to my apartement, is just a bunch of dead trees and this river, which doesn't really flow.
Well the first week has been rough, finding out where everything is, my teachers; and more recently homework... Now that the first week is over, I can point out the main differences :).
Well, WAB's schedule works so that each class isn't at the same time of the day, like CISS floater classes. But each class is 80 minutes long, it's kind of hard to concentrate after 40 minutes.
Both are laptop schools, but WAB isn't fully Mac intergrated, so students can use PC computers too. We don't use computers as much as Concordia, but at least the teachers don't use remote desktop (I don't think they even have it). People here don't use iWork or iLife. They tend to use Microsoft Office for everything. It really bugs me for some reason.
My teachers here are mostly Australian and British. Although I have been thaught like this for 10 years, I can't get used to their accent. Teachers are pretty funny, well some of them.
Science is about cells and the human body, a lot different than the chemestry we learnt in Concordia. Social Studies is named Humanities here, and we just finished World War One, and doing stuff about sourcing. English here is about Poetry, and the exact same topics aout poetic devices, and 500 word analysis about a single poem. Math is mostly about geometry, but there are sub units to do with algebra and calculus.
There are a other subjects, such as PE/Health, technology, Fine Arts, and Chinese. Nothing worth talking about.
WAB is huge, compared to CISS and it takes forever to get to classes.
Food is cheaper and better here too :) Probably because it's not made by Eurest.
That's all right now...
